1. Summary
The world population is aging at a rapid pace. People over 65 make up a large part of the world's population and the rate will continue to increase.
Population aging means an increase in the proportion of senior citizens. Here the old man refers to people over the age of 65. The elderly population itself is getting older. The oldest population is the fastest growing group of senior citizens.
Aging causes various policy problems. First, the biggest problem is the reduction of labor. Health is also an important issue, and happiness and quality of life to death are also a problem. In this regard, welfare policies are also being talked about.
Along with aging, the birth rate is also declining significantly. The current life expectancy is 72. The average number of children in women, which was more than five in the 1960s, has dropped to less than 2.5 today. Europe has the lowest birthrate of 1.6.

2. Interesting Point
The number of elderly people around the world, including our country, has increased significantly. Korea is also moving beyond an aging society. This article shows why the increase in the elderly population is dangerous and what are the problems caused by the aging population.

To solve this problem, is the answer to increasing the birth rate?
