W6 / Climate change education / Lee Hayoung
Various countries are struggling for change through climate change education. Climate Change Education (CCE) is an education aimed at addressing and developing effective responses to climate change. Help learners understand the causes and consequences of climate change, prepare them to adapt to the effects of climate change, and take appropriate steps to help them adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. They also learn how human activities affect climate change, what they can do to protect themselves from negative consequences, and how to reduce their own climate footprints. In particular, CCE improves the resilience of already vulnerable communities that are most likely to be affected negatively by climate change. It was interesting not just to encourage, but to minimize climate change and to provide systematic education for those who are vulnerable to already underway climate change. In particular, I learned that there is such a movement. Changing values is the most important thing, but values will change from the generation in which they are being educated. What efforts should be added to have a positive impact on older adults who are already at the production site?
