What are the pros and cons of using Naver versus Google for research purpose?

In fact, I think Naver is a search site that is not suitable for research purposes. Google and Naver have the same category of search site, but have different personalities. While Naver focuses on shopping and entertainment, Google focuses on information retrieval. Therefore, Google is appropriate if used for research purposes.

Google has vast amounts of information. When I search for what I want, it comes out immediately. If you can speak English, you can take many advantages. If you use English, you can get more information than you can use Korean. To put it bluntly, you can say that all the information in the world is on Google.

However, Google also has its downsides. It is like a double-edged sword, there are many fake news as much information as there is.People who are critically incapable of accepting information are likely to be misled by fake news. In fact, this is the downside of all search sites. However, Google has a lot of information, which makes this drawback stand out. Also, the information is not well organized. It would be easy to collect information if you search for A, but it could be difficult to find information that is on your own purpose.

Naver is not suitable for research purposes, but it will be easier to search than Google if it is to get light information. Since it is a Korean company, it supports search services that are most suitable for Koreans. Real-time search terms, organized search results are examples.

Naver and Google have their own Advantage and weaknesses. If you search for research purpose, I recommend Google rather than Naver.
