W2 Prefaces, foreward, and conclusion/김윤(KIM YOON)

Summary

The text tells of the history of Wikipedia that has now been able to rise to the top of the best websites. It keys to 'collaborative community', but at the first time people believed it would be impossible. Contrary to expectations, many people actively shared their knowledge, and sometimes actively participated in debates and even in controversies. In Wikipedia, the most powerful democracy occurred. It also facilitated access for people who wanted information, combining it with various document technologies. People are working hard for the love of the work, and not for the money.

Interesting

I was very impressed from the very beginning of the text. Also, I didn't know that Wikipedia, which is now really easy to use, was met with great opposition at the first step. Sometimes I stop thinking about good ideas, and I try to challenge Wikipedia's founding spirit, even if it seems impossible.

Discussion

I wondered 'Is there anything else like Wikipedia where people's opinions come together and produce good value?'.
