Importance of Reference in Wikipedia(Wikipedia: Reliable sources)/Lim Ji Won

There will be few ways that we can get as much information as Wikipedia to find information on a subject.

However, it is difficult to refer to Wikipedia 100 percent when we carry out any research and tasks. The reason is that everyone can edit Wiki, so the objectivity and accuracy of the information are poor.

However, because the convenience of information access and the vast data are the greatest advantages that Wikipedia has and the reason we refer to Wiki, it is highly recommended that we put reference in each sentence in the writing principle.

The reason is that although we can't determine whether the content in Wikipedia is true or not, if we go in and read the link to the reference document on it. The author of the book or paper can identify whether it is a person of high reputation or officially recognized content.

To be sure, Wikipedia has not yet fully demonstrated its objectivity. However, if we have enough references in every paragraph or sentence, Wikipedia will be able to act as a good broker to lead us to the objective and proven data we want to obtain.

Therefore, I think that Wikipedia's administrators and people consider reference very important.
