Week 12-1 | Microenterprise, global poverty and social development | Lee Jaeseong

1. Summary
This paper talks about microfinance and microenterprise's strategy to fight poverty today. These two terms were not popularized until the 1900s. Recently, this strategy to fight poverty through microfinance has been on the rise. Microfinance and microenterprise are likely to succeed in helping the poor in developing countries.

2. Interesting Point
It was interesting to know about microfinance and microenterprise. I didn't know much about these two. They are said to play a role in raising the standard of living for the poor by setting the direction of their lives beyond lending money to the poor. I was surprised that this actually worked.

3. Discussion
If you were poor, would you use the finance and enterprise mentioned above?

Q. Society is not determined by technology, nor is technology determined by society. Both emerge as two sides of the sociotechnical coin. What is meant by that? A.
