Economic Development and Poverty Reduction in Korea

Korea became a very poor country after the colonial rule and the Korean War. People starved because they had nothing to eat and did not even have a foundation to develop the industry. However, the implementation of various policies has led to economic development at a very rapid pace. However, it came to my mind that elements of the political system were not supported as we achieved rapid economic development. Is our capitalism well established? Can we say that the development of capitalism alone is the development of society?
