W-Extra. “Should human rights of criminals be guaranteed?” / Kim Seon Woo

Summary

Human rights is a universal and absolute concept of human rights and status and qualifications. In other words, human rights are thought to have the right to live as human beings, and are defined as having regional variables such as jurisdiction, nationality, and nationality of the law, and universality applied regardless of age. The essence and legitimacy of human rights and the content itself have been the subject of intense debate in philosophy and politics today.

However, human rights are universally defined in international law and international conventions and in national law in numerous countries. However, the specific expressions in which human rights are defined within the special background of many human societies are diverse and may appear differently depending on the civilization rights. In particular, there is constant debate about the scope of the concept of'rights' or'humans' in the definition of human rights, and there are differences in legislation and opinions depending on the interpretation of the system or people.

Interesting Point.

Human rights are the rights that any human can have. I think the value of human rights has been fully discussed and developing worldwide. However, there is always controversy over the human rights of criminals in Korea. Even the ridicule of “the country for criminals” comes to mind. In the word criminal, we cannot avoid the debate on whether to focus on “crime” or “person”.

Discussion.

Should the human rights of criminals be guaranteed?
