1. Summary
Our society has developed medical technology due to the development of various technologies, thereby extending the life expectancy. But the birth rate is gradually decreasing, which means our society is becoming an aging society. An aging society causes various problems. The elderly are forced to limit their economic activities, and a lower birth rate means that the number of young people who can support them is gradually decreasing. It is true that collecting data alone takes a long time, but active government-level research and development are needed to wisely cope with the crisis caused by aging.

2. What was interesting
In fact, there was nothing interesting about this reading because it has long been known as a problem in Korean society. In fact, however, we could see that in order for us to proceed without any major problems in an aging society, we needed a government-level response quickly.

3. Discussion Point
It is a matter of human dignity that cannot be achieved by force in the case of childbirth and death. So what can the government do to cope with the current phenomenon without directly engaging in childbirth and death?
