Summary)
     The world population is aging. Population aging refers to an increase in the proportion of senior citizens aged 65 or older. And the average age of the elderly population as well as the proportion of the elderly population is increasing. The average age of the elderly population has increased due to the longer life span of the elderly. And the proportion of senior citizens in the population of all ages increased as longer and new children were born. This aging population is causing various social problems. Economic issues include how to guarantee income for senior citizens after they retire. And there is a problem that the elderly should set up an environment in which they can live a healthy, economically and socially decent life. To this end, the government is making efforts to share information by conducting various studies on aging among countries. It also seeks to expand the family's ability to embrace the elderly into social functions.

     I was surprised that the sandwich generation was increasingly responsible for the aging population. After reading this article, I thought about the situation in Korea. As the economically difficult time to get a job in Korea approaches, adult children are often getting help from their parents, and as the life span of the elderly increases, the number and duration of elderly people aged 30 to 60 have increased. In this situation, however, some middle-aged people are advised to retire early due to weak economy. Therefore, I realized how important it was to set up measures to support them and support the people. In particular, at a time when the economy has deteriorated due to the influence of the Korona 19 virus as it is now, the nation's help seems more necessary.
