W8.Digital Divide/Lim Ji Won

Digital devide means an unequal distribution between different groups in terms of access, use or impact to information and communications technology.

There are various causes, but the main reasons are that computers and software are not distributed equally to everyone, and that education on the ability to use information and communication technology is not conducted equally. In other words, there was initially a gap due to economic reasons. Recently, however, there has been a digital divide of different meanings. As the technological gap gradually decreases due to technological development, the knowledge divide, or different meanings, came to mind depending on how much meaningful information can be obtained.

The most surprising thing was that there were races in the reasons and correlations of the digital divide. I think the content of trying to separate races through digital censorship and algorithm prejudice is a significant problem and shocking content in modern society. In particular, I think limiting content to colored people while allowing hateful content for colored people should not happen in the era of globalization.

In modern society, digital divide is becoming more and more meaningful as knowledge division. However, I think knowledge devide is harder to come up with a clear solution than digital devide due to technical problems, so how will you solve this problem?
