W8. Digital divide/ Kim Seonghui

1. Summary
The digital divide was about whether access was possible or not, but this is becoming increasingly a relative inequality as most mobile phones have been distributed worldwide. Meanwhile, since the word "digital divide" can be divided into several categories, the word "digital inclusion," which includes five elements, has also begun to be used. There are many reasons why the digital divide occurs. Economic gaps, racial gaps, disability status, gender, and age differences. People are trying in various ways to eliminate this gap. For example, public library services were created to reduce the impact of poverty on the information gap. It is very important to narrow the gap between these information. Its importance can be found in terms of economic equality, social mobility, democracy, and economic growth.

2. New/Interesting
Now I first learned that the information gap has become relative inequality. I didn't know why they used the word digital inclusion, because I've never heard of such words before. I also got to know a new Second-level digital divide called the production gap. I didn't even think about the gap between content consumers and producers. Because at some point, I felt that the boundaries between consumers and manufacturers were blurring.

3. Discussion
I think many people are now doing both content production and consumption. Content consumers and content creators do not seem to appear clearly. Then can we say that the second-level digital divide is disappearing? What do you think?
