W7.Colonizing Black Holes/Lim Ji Won

As we know, black holes are one of the most dangerous and destructive celestial bodies in the universe. But in the future, if there is a possibility that the black hole could be used as an infinite amount of energy and shelter for us, would you believe it?

This video shows how to generate energy in a black hole that is about the size of a hole that can be explored, and how to use a black hole in the form of living by making a residence on the surface of a black hole. Especially, the method of generating energy in black holes was very impressive, and it is a method of dropping material towards black holes and collecting X-rays from acretion disks.The acretion disk says that the material is compressed into a very strong force and moves quickly, so it can get a lot of friction heat. Moreover, it is also possible to secure stability by throwing away items that are difficult to dispose of due to the nature of black holes where materials are greatly compressed and absorbed. I think this is a skill that can have a big impact on the development of "sustainable development" that we learned in class.
