Socio-cultural evolution is a generic term describing the theory of cultural evolution in social evolution. It is a term that describes how society and culture change over time. Socio-cultural development represents a process in which society and culture increase in complexity, while socio-cultural evolution also includes a process in which complexity decreases and various changes are made without changing complexity. Spencer and Comte see society as a kind of organism that is subject to growth processes from simplicity to complexity, confusion to order, generalization to specialization, flexibility to organization. They agree that the process of social growth can be divided into specific stages Anthropology pioneer Edward Burnett Tylor (1832–1917) focused on the evolution of culture around the world. He believed that society is at a different stage of cultural development and that the purpose of anthropology is to reconstruct the evolution of culture from primitive beginnings to modern conditions.
Interesting point
The effort to figure out what stages each society in the world develops through was impressive. Each scholar's opinion makes sense. The important thing is to combine our various perspectives to get our own benefits.
Question
How should social change after corona be measured?
