W11.1 Social Development is Economic Development / Juhee Cha
1. Summary
The basic objective of economic development is
not economic growth, but to improve human development, including social
development workers. Social development may slow or slow in some regions and
countries. The following are four characteristics of social development.
First, social development is an excellent
investment from the perspective of contributing to economic growth as well as
directly improving human welfare.
Secondly, investing in social development
itself does not guarantee growth. Therefore, those involved in social
advancement cannot raise any further discussion about other aspects of economic
policy.
Third, the construction of social programs is
not simple. It is not simple from a political point of view, nor is it simple
from a technical or administrative standpoint.
I can do it in spite of the difficulties. Some
of the poorest countries have shown that this is possible and taught them how
to do it.
2. Interesting Point
I have come to feel once again that society is
bound by diverse areas. It is very interesting that economic development can
lead to the development of society (human) as well as the economy. There are
various chart data that prove that "social development is economic
development." Therefore, the proposition of this essay was fully proved
and I realized again why social development is important. It was interesting to
find out that "educated women have healthier children." Society is intertwined with various domains, and
so is education. So I think we've got this kind of result.
3. Discussion
The problem is that the speed of development of
society varies widely among regions and countries. Is this problem solvable?
