Q. Can the government suspend human rights of some individuals for the 'good of the wider society'? / Lee hayoung
A. We agree with the suspension of human rights for individuals who adversely affect society, but we should be careful that the government does not indiscriminately violate individuals' human rights beyond their needs. In order to do so, I think the person who needs to be punished needs to be punished properly for the crime. Laws and institutions should be organized in detail so as not to infringe on individual human rights as much as possible.
