WK 3.2 How useful the WB pages are compared to Wikipedia description - Hanane Ben Abdeslam

The Worldbank focuses on the need to “put people first” in development processes. On their website it shows how they are helping the poor and vulnerable by empowering people, building cohesive and resilient societies, and making institutions accessible and accountable to citizens. On several pages they are showing with who they are working: governments, communities, civil society and the private sector. So, what I’m trying to say is that the Worldbank is using different pages to explain what their vision is and how they are succeeding it, also by using technology.

Wikipedia does also want to help the society by giving them the ability to search for information on their platform. Therefore, you can learn from Wikipedia theoretical foundations of poverty, governments and communities, and what actions are needed to help the society.

Therefore, in my opinion, I think that both Wikipedia and Worldbank are useful. Wikipedia shows every theoretical detail with the focus on the need to “put people first” and the Worldbank are showing their actions on how they help the people.
