Q. What makes modern societies more advanced than those of the past?
 
A. I think the experiences make today's society more evolved. Korea's most recent example, in particular, Park Geun-hye in 2016 campaign to oust president, candlelight vigil was held. Many people participated in this large social movement to step down as president of Park Geun-hye. The rally is also called the Candlelight Civil Revolution, and many people participated in it based on nonviolence to inform the National Assembly of the will of the people of the country. Park Geun-hye in the Constitutional Court and submit a bill for the impeached president through parliament impeached the president. Through this process, we realized that even if we now have the power of the president, we can carry out our opinions if the people join forces to assert their opinions as one. Therefore, this experience has allowed everyone to know that people can judge any politician who is against their will at any time. Politicians will try to act on the will of the people, and I think people have become more interested in politics, which has made society more evolved.
