What does a sustainable future actually look like?

The article says bout the sustainable plan for the future. Even though there's an idea of a sustainable future, there have been talks about it, not much has been done. The author asks the question of how to cope with the current problems. Also since the definition of a sustainable future underlines that we cannot compromise the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, there's another question - what will be the needs of future generations. It's hard to predict because the world is expected to change in every aspect starting from the population number to grow. What will be the needs of future generations? Also, how to motivate people toward undertaking more sustainable lifestyles?
The problem is that there's no direct/one answer for how sustainable lifestyle should look or what kind of actions should we take. The author criticizes that even though that topic has started to be discussed a long time ago, we still haven't moved forward with it. The directions of "building a sustainable future" aren't precise. Every sector needs different actions to be taken. There's a will of people to leave more sustainable life, there are also more definitions on how to so. We need more clarifications on what is sustainability. Our actions don't stop on, for example, buying more sustainable apparel, there are many actions behind the whole process that we should pay attention to as well. The article is bringing some of the examples of organizations that are taking some specific steps towards working with businesses or providing services that help in achieving a more sustainable environment. It was interesting to get to know those organizations and the actions that are being taken, although what was mentioned in the article, it's not enough.

My questions for a discussion would be: what are the actions that we take (as individuals) to represent a more sustainable lifestyle? What are you doing to live a more sustainable life?
