W6 / Sustainable development / Lee Hayoung

Sustainable development is a way to develop society by meeting human needs without compromising the stability of the natural environment. As the 20th century entered, environmental problems arose. Thus, for the sake of human existence, human economic and social development valued environmental protection. Sustainability means replacing the system of the natural environment with better resources without degrading or making it dangerous so that human development can also be maintained indefinitely. Also, there should be time for nature to recover without being harmed by human activities. Therefore, humans should utilize nature to the extent that it can accommodate. Everyone knows that environmental issues are homework that the whole world has to solve together, but I don't think there has been any big movement so far. However, although it is a disaster for humans and there are many victims, the Earth's environment is rapidly positive. Do we have to be in such extreme situations to protect the natural environment? What efforts should we all make to establish values to protect nature without major damage?
