Climate-friendly school

1. Summary
Climate-friendly schools are schools that use education to promote a sustainable culture. For some schools, these climate-related problems are important because they directly affect them. In this school, members learn and practice how to live. Schools make efforts to reduce climate change in all aspects of life. Let me give you examples of some of the schools. First, there is the Colégio Israelita Brasileiro A, in Brazil. They made their own solar ovens, green roofs, and so on, making students experience climate-friendly things. Secondly, Nagoya International School declared in its mission statement that a sustainable school culture should be developed. It aims to become a person who takes active action for sustainable development.

2. New/Interesting
Most schools have a lot of environmental protection education. It was amazing that there was a climate-friendly school for sustainable development. It is likely to greatly help practice climate-friendly education by increasing the number of empirical as well as the theoretical part.

3. Discussion
If you run these schools, what activities do you think you can use to create climate-friendly schools?

Comments

  1. I will collect people's voluntary contributions every year and donate them to the relevant organizations. I will also improve students' awareness of climate by continuously campaigning for climate change and its effects.

  2. Getting children to live in environmentally friendly schools could also be an important experience. Therefore, if a new school is built, it will not use electricity as much as possible and will be designed to utilize the light and wind of nature. And if the school is already built, it will try to grow plants on the roof of the school so that the building will be less hot from the sun. And as shown above, it would be good to plan a lot of time on your timetable for science to make your own solar ovens using eco-friendly technology. It would also be good to make eco-friendly shampoo or soap. In art class, it is also good to learn how to reform old items beautifully. In addition, it would be most important for all children to have a lifestyle for the environment, such as turning off the lights and saving items such as school supplies when they move.
