W4. Free-culture movement/ Seoyoung Um
The Free Culture Movement is a social movement that promotes freedom to distribute other people's creations in the form of free content or open content without compensation by using a medium different from the Internet. "This movement opposes overly restrictive copyright laws and prevents creativity."
I only knew about keeping strict discipline on copyright law, but I've never heard of a free culture movement. And I found it interesting to develop such a movement. This is because I am one of the people who think copyright is important, and I doubt if I can flexibly accept the free-cultural movement of my work.
How should we define ambiguous copyright law boundaries in the free-cultural movement?
