W4-1. Millennium Development Goals / Kim Seon Woo

Summary

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are agendas adopted by the United Nations in 2000 and include the goal of halving the world's poverty by 2015.

The eight goals are: Absolute poverty and hunger eradication Realizing universal primary education Gender equality and enhancement of women's competence Decreased child mortality Enhance maternal health Prevention of diseases such as AIDS and malaria Securing a sustainable environment Building global partnerships for development The main results of the project are as follows. Half-day population less than $ 1.25 per day All benefits granted Elimination of gender discrimination at all levels of education 2/3 decrease in mortality rate for children under 5 3/4 reduction in maternal mortality Stop malaria and AIDS Safe drinking water and inaccessible hygiene environment Half the population Building global partnerships to achieve MDGs

Interesting Point.

It is impressive that countries around the world have joined forces to combat disease and poverty in developing countries, and that it has worked.

Discussion

But where do you finance it? Is this a valid project in the midst of confusion with the Corona 19 virus? Does the developing world now have a medical system to overcome Corona?
