W3 Reading:Social development theory/ joon hee Lee

Social development theory explains that it changes the structure of one's own so that society can better realize the goals it seeks. When society has a chance to develop, there is an organization (or pioneer) inside that will lead it successfully. (This breaks the existing framework, and when it shows a successful outcome, many people copy it and innovation spreads naturally.) Usually, people think a lot about economic development, but it's not necessarily so. The direction of development varies according to the values society aims for.

The theory of social development was more complicated than I thought, so it took a lot of effort to understand it. Personally, I think I was most impressed when I read that the way society develops depends on what value it pursues in the previous paragraph. If anyone thinks of the word "development" in their head, they will think of economic or technological development.

And I wanted to hear other people's thoughts on this part. When I thought about what an "developed society" was, I thought that a society has developed in which many people (without class distinction) receive equal benefits from advanced technology. What are the criteria for an advanced society that you think is?
