W2. What do you think 'social development's means?

I've considered social development in two ways. It is material development and mental development. First, material development is the development of technology that is often easy to think about. It can be called material development that we are positively influenced by technological advances. For example, quick access to information through the Internet and SNS / advances in medicine have increased life expectancy and treated incurable diseases.

Mental development means the development of civic consciousness, social system, etc. During the transitional period of capitalism, many welfare policies were created for the socially disadvantaged. I would say this is a mental development. It can also be seen as a social development that members of society have a positive influence on each other due to the development of civic consciousness and ethics.
