Can we think of some examples of how Internet has changed our culture?

The Internet changed our culture in many aspects. I think the main aspect is the possibility to confront different cultures and affect each other. It can be also used to look a bit outside of our bubble. We're used to the environment and culture that surrounds us, also taking many aspects of it for granted. Thanks to the information that can be found on the internet we may take advantage of that and appreciate our culture more. Learning about diversity with the use of the internet is what I think has also an impact on us. We can communicate more with people from different parts of the country or the world and we can gain from their cultures a lot of value and knowledge. There's also a different view on this topic that says that through this culture exchange out own characteristic features are starting to disappear. Though I think cultures are something that was always changing and a process that we cannot stop. It is possible to care about heritage without giving up on many valuable things that can be taken from cooperation. Also because of learning the importance of those differences, we can actually secure them. Another thing is that through the internet, we are exposed to many ideas and concepts. We can learn about how other people live in the world and try to reflect on it. I think the internet has huge power in fighting many inequalities and can be a support for civil liberties such as freedom of speech, freedom of beliefs, freedom of conscience (ideas), freedom of religion, freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, etc., especially in regions where those freedoms are undermined. The Internet does also has a negative influence on culture as well but if well used it actually brings the cultures together.

What is your view on the cultural exchange both through the internet and in real life? Is their more danger or more profits for us from it?
