Why are you taking this class?/ Lee joon hee

 Last year, I took the 'Information Society Project' class in advance. In that class, I experienced how to use wiki-voyage and various wiki-related content. Editing the wiki myself was interesting and difficult, but I was delighted that this could help someone.


 Wikipedia is definitely a collection of good information, but in Korea, its name often feels strange. There are many materials that have been translated into Korean to some extent, but  I think people still have to rely on English to use various contents. So, I'm going to think about how the wiki can be more familiar to Korean people.


 I thought I could learn more about wiki and sociology through this class, and I hope this will help my knowledge. For this, I will try hard to participate in the class.

    Indeed, one of the job of sociologist is to educate the public, and one way we do it is by translating content. We will do it in this class to, making the world a better place!

Q. Society is not determined by technology, nor is technology determined by society. Both emerge as two sides of the sociotechnical coin. What is meant by that? A. So to begin with, I think that society and technology are the relationships that influence each other, the concepts that one cannot include or dominate.
