Why are you taking this class?


  I often had to get data while studying sociology. However, it was not easy to find data when trying to look at sociology from a new perspective with a new topic. And there were times when I wondered if it would be applicable to the fast-changing society because there were many published data in the past. Wikipedia is thought to be faster to update data than other academic materials. So I want to get used to using Wikipedia and getting data in this class.
 
  The class is also in English. I want to learn new experiences later by meeting various people in foreign countries. And I think that communication ability in English is important. So I wanted to have a chance to learn English often in Korea.
 


  Finally, this class has many opportunities to hear various answers from many people to one question. I thought thinking variously was an important part of learning sociology. So I wanted to communicate with people through this class. I took a class to express my opinion in English in the previous semester, and I liked to hear various people's opinions and express them in English. So I think this class is also beneficial to me.

    Trying your best is an important part of becoming a good sociologist. That includes learning how to communicate in English about real world issues! Keep it up!
