Why are you taking this class? / Kim Seon Woo

I am skeptical of the political system in Korea. Three years ago, I was also in the election camp for President Moon Jae-in, the current president of the Republic of Korea. I went through a lot of things in the process, and the most shocking thing was that my main job was a “negative campaign” for the other candidate. At the time, while writing several articles attacking candidate Ahn Chul-soo, he used a combination of identified and unconfirmed information.

First of all, it was because it spread the weaknesses of the opponents. What was even more shocking was that in the elections, Ahn's approval rate had to be lowered, and Hong Joon-pyo's approval rate had to be raised. In the composition between the three-party confrontation, this increases the chance that candidate Moon Jae-in will win.

So, the positive information about candidate Hong Joon-pyo, he also spread without clarifying the facts. Anyway, President Moon Jae-in was elected, but many people say that this is "the progress of Korean society." But I don't think so. In modern society, information is power, and we believe that it is 'justice' to clearly understand and use the information.

So, through this social development theory class, I would like to learn how to accurately identify 'information' and use it for the correct development of society. Wikipedia is very interesting, using tools!
