What are the pros and cons of using 

Naver versus Google for research purposes?

 
  Koreans are familiar with Naver sites. So the advantage of Naver is that it can find information familiarly. However, Google has a relatively large amount of academic material. If Naver information is limited to domestic information, Google has relatively global data. Naver has advantages in terms of cultural life such as blogs and webtoons such as travel reviews and product reviews rather than academic materials. Therefore, I often use Google when I get academic data and Naver when I do cultural life.
 


  And when I use academic materials, I use Naver dictionary when I have questions about the meaning of words. When you are curious about the pronunciation of words, use Google Dictionary. In addition, when translating English material into Korean, Naver translation machine is more convenient than Google translation machine. On the other hand, Google Translator helps to express Korean pronunciation in English.
