Summary

I read 'Millennium Development Goal #1 Eradicate Extreme Poverty and Hunger'. It contained a story about a boy and his family who lived poor. He lived in Brazil. His family moved and moved continuously because his parents were temporary employees. They moved to the city anticipating better life. However picking recyclable materials was waiting him and his family. They were so poor that they even got things to eat from the garbage dump. This comic tells us how serious the situation of the poor is.

No matter how comic it is, I could feel how hard poverty is for people. The scene of searching through a pile of trash because there was nothing to eat came as a great shock to me.

What else can help them stand on their own feet on the top of economic donations?
